Founder’s desk

Talk It Through was born from curiosity - what started as an elective subject in high school slowly unfolded into a lifelong calling. I’ve been immersed in the world of psychology through study, research, and practice, since 2016. Growing up, therapy was often kept behind closed doors, whispered about with deep-rooted stigma.

But as I learned more, I saw that therapy isn’t just for crisis or formal diagnoses - it is also a powerful tool for growth, healing, and navigating life’s messy, in-between moments. Along the way, I’ve seen just how deeply our mental health shapes every part of who we are - our thoughts, emotions, relationships and physical health.

Talk It Through is my endeavour at creating the supportive and empathetic space I wish I had when I was younger. My hope is that this space not only offers compassionate support, but also helps spark a wider, kinder conversation about mental health.

Our eclectic approach towards therapy is rooted in empathy, active listening, and collaboration. We tailor our therapeutic methods to each individual, integrating practices like cognitive-behavioural therapy, mindfulness, and through a trauma-informed lens.

unique needs, empowering them to achieve emotional well-being and personal growth. We
emphasize building a trusting therapeutic relationship, encouraging our clients to explore
their emotions and experiences openly.

  • No. You don’t need a diagnosis or referral. If you’re struggling or simply need someone to talk it through with, you’re welcome here.

  • Counselling focuses on emotional and psychological wellbeing - processing thoughts, feelings, and patterns. ADHD coaching is more goal-oriented, supporting you in building tools and strategies to navigate life as a neurodivergent person. They can also complement each other.

  • Our therapists are not crisis counsellors, thus you are unable to contact them outside of scheduled sessions. This is to protect professional boundaries and avoid dependency.

  • We offer online sessions for accessibility and flexibility. In-person sessions are available in Kolkata, West Bengal. 

  • Sessions typically run for 50 minutes. We can discuss what works best for you.

  • Please contact us directly for up-to-date fees and sliding scale options. Payment can be made using UPI / GPay / Paytm / PhonePe or bank transfer

  •  Last-minute cancellations and no-shows are not eligible for refunds. In these cases, a fresh payment will be needed. There is no extra charge for rescheduling one day in advance.
